Introduction

Culture in any society or organization defines how people or human beings unite with other people to form groups as they distinct themselves for their uniqueness. The perspectives of the culture are usually sensual in individuals, where they are able to create different activities consumed by their senses. However, in today’s’ society there are still some cultural issues within the global organization that affects the organization’s interactions more so outside the United States (Messenger & Smith, 2010). Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to research and analyze a global organization, and a cultural issue that affects the organization’s interactions outside the United States as well as, defining the cultural issue within the global organization while preparing an analysis of the ethical and social responsibility issues that this organization deals with as a global organization. The paper will also identify the ethical perspectives in this global organization and comparing those ethical perspectives across cultures involved in this global organization.

Defining cultural issue within the global organization

Cultural issues can be said to be the disagreement in the society along with the government that can be based upon the origin and cultural differences. The cultural issues can rise from the socio-economical, communication and technological differences. Organization can be said to be a cross cultures organization, this is because, it is able to send voluntary people who looks for education, or who opts to do businesses across the world.

One of the cultural issues within the global organization is a communication issue. Every country has their own languages that they speak, but when an organization sends their people to other countries, sometimes it will be very hard for them to understand what the other country might be saying given that the way the speak might be totally different from them especially when the pronunciation differs. It is therefore evident that, in regards to communication, language becomes very hard to speak especially when a person comes from another country. The organization has tried to resolve this issue by identifying the volunteers who travel outside the country should know the language of the country he/she is travelling to so that they can communicate with others without difficulties.

Another cultural issue within the global organization is a socio-economic issue. Socio-economic issue is something people experience whenever they go to another country that is not theirs. It sometimes becomes so difficult for the foreigners on how to use other peoples’ country money. The person finds it so difficult given that the organization themselves explains how the money should be exchanged as well as, telling the people send to other countries on how they can use the currency to enable them get ease while using it.

The last cultural issue within the global organization is the issue of technology. Today, people from different countries use different technology. The research shows that, every country uses its own different technology which is quite different from another country. When an organization sends its employee to a different country, the employee might find it so hard in using their technology since he/she will find it to be quite different from the one they have been using in their own country. This has become a great problem mostly to the organizations that send their employees to other countries (Messenger & Smith, 2010).

Ethical and Social Responsibility Issues

Ethics in many organizations has affected the organization socially and economically. Despite the fact that the organization sends its members across other countries, they still have partnership with the development groups as well as, local communities. For example, the organization sponsors its employees for local events as well as, giving them opportunities of travelling outside the country so as they can go and experience other different cultures from different countries. Through all these, the organizations express their social responsibility and ethics for their employees.

Ethical Perspectives in the global organization

Research shows that most people have got an anxiety to conserve their cultures. However since the global culture get improves day by day, many people are afraid that they will start getting into other cultures forgetting their own culture. This will stop them from practicing their own culture; they will also get to learn new things by another culture from the diverse perceptive. With these facts, there are still some evidences that shows several people travelling to other countries with the name of going to study or for a business purposes; therefore respect should be shown to other cultures since one does not know what might happen whenever he/she travels to those countries.

Conclusion

The way people speak, how they behave, as well as their identities shows the country they come from and their cultures. People come from different cultures and origin but this does not make them not to be one thing. People do not have to tell who they are or where they come from, however they should have good character as they welcome different cultures that may come on their way in their lives. People should love one another and appreciate each others’ culture since culture is dynamic.
